I bought this unit back in May and I love it! But I've noticed that during calls longer than 5 minutes I will lose connection 3 - 4 times. My phone shows that the call is still connected (and has at least 3 bars) for about 15 seconds, but I've lost communication. Then the call disconnects. My battery is well charged, and my phone is no more that 2 - 3 feet away from it. Any ideas what might be the cause?

I have been told by both Motorola and LG that it is a Bluetooth profile compatibility issue. I don't know that there's anything that can be done.

I had the same problem, in fact I was not using the unit.
This morning I decided to take another look at it; to be honest a very clever co-worker took a stab at it.
It turns out that it is a very simple fix, once you figure it out.
Just be sure that the microphone points towards the front, towards you; just as they tell you on the instructions.
Obviously mine was reversed, once we turned it to the correct orientation, the problem went away. LES

Reset button is a small soft rubber circle near the on/off button.
Back up your data and do a factory reset. You will lose all data but this usually will fix this issue.

Usually answered in minutes!
I have the same exact problem I can't fix it myself.
Mine also does the exact same thing. Like clockwork it will disconnect after 5 minutes but remain somewhat "connected". I cannot hear the other person but my phone says it's connected. Very annoying
