Here'show to turn off the demo mode,
Power ON the television
(Use remote Commander)
1.Select "TV" mode (not AV, demo mode can't switch offwhen you are in AV)
2. Press the "home" button on the remote.
3. Select "settings"
4. Select "set up"
5. Scroll down to "factory setting" and restore them.
6. When it asks home or shop display select "home".
I have a Sony EX 720. When moving the TV I accidently turned on the demo mode. There are buttons on the back of my TV on theright side. Push and hold the"HOME" button for approximately 5 seconds. This will turn on/off the demo mode.
omg thanks some much.. this demo has been driving me crazy for days.. the 5second hold on home was the only thing that worked..

I finally managed to solve this problem by unplugging everything - scarts - HDD cables - power etc and left it for an hour. When I turned it back on again the problem had sorted itself out.
