Hi, I have a Nokia E63 Mobile phone and it hangs once in a day. Somtime it hangs for three to four times and it starts automatically after hang. After restart it work fine for the timing. Kindly give the solution for the same.

Hi, What code are you asking for? If it is a security code, The default code must be 12345. If you have changed it and forgot it, Take your mobile to a Nokia Priority Store. They could do a master reset to your mobile. This would restore your phone with default factory settings.

The letter p appears if you press the button star(*) three times quickly
The letter w appears if you press the button star(*) four times quickly
The symbol + appears if you press the button star(*) two times quickly
The CODE you need to enter is the unique unlock code for your Nokia E63

reset your phone to factory settings or install latest firmware this will erase all unnecessary data from your mobile and your mobile's spped will boost up.

Usually,the phone gets hang when you have so many data and stuffs stored on your phone memory,this might not properly generating the phone system if less free memory space left.

To fix this problem,here are some guides to do.

* you just need to erase some unused files on your phone memory.

* be sure all multi-media files are stored on memory card or if some applications,games etc is stored on your phone memory,transfer it to memory card so that your phone system saves available free space and to be able to operate other mobile functions and features.

* If the above statement does not work, you need to reset or format your phone, this will erase all files stored on your phone, so if you wish to continue,be sure to back everything before doing this method.If you are ready, just type this keys on your home screen *#7370# (hard reset method) A lock code will be ask and then enter this code 12345 (this is the default code,but if you change it before,enter your desire code. The phone will reboot automatically and after that, it will be on default settings.

Please repeat that steps or remove the battery and sim then re fit them and hat it turn on again. If nothing change you have problem with firmware and to fix at dealer. Regards

THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THAT IS TO RESTORE YOUR PHONE INTO FACTORY SETTING. you can also save your files and contacts to your PC via nokia pc suite (the latest one) and start resetting your phone. thats the only possible way to restore your phone deleting the hanging theme.

it generally hangs when u install new new softwares in it, which is sometimes not compatable with ur mobile platform.

now what u have to do is u have to format ur phone to factory settings that is the only way which is to be done in regard to make ue phone run smooth
sometime when u talk for long hours on ur cell fone , it gets heat up and ur call get automatically disconnected.

u have to reset it which is sometimes dangerous to ur cell phone, it might cause some harm to it.

There r two ways to format ur Cell Phone
1. Soft Core Format
2. Hard Core Format


1. In Soft Core Format u have to dial *#7370#    or   dial  *#7780#     this will format ur phone memory and u have to manually format ur memory card
2. In Hard Core Format ur mobile gets formatted as a tough format,     u have to keep on pressing the three buttons simultaneously(at the same time) for a long period unless u get a screen on ur phone when it asks for the region(ur country).


what u have to do: 
1. switch OFF ur mobile
2. u have to press three keys at a time
    Call Button (green key) + * key + 3  at the same time
3. now dont get ur fingers off those buttons , ask someone to switch ur mobile ON (if possible make       ur cell phone placed on some table for stability) (please dont move ur fingers off those three keys       unless u get the screen where u r asked for ur region)
once u got that screen ur cell phone is formatted


NOTE: Formatting the phone with HARD CORE FORMAT METHOD may be harmful if not done in the correct way
