Cant change french to english - HTC P3300 Smartphone

still i cant change the language.already the language is in french..so i want it into english

If you can find the menu, look for a setting labeled with something LIKE: "idioma" (if it's been changed to spanish), "idiome" or "langue" (if changed to french) or "sprache" or "zunge" (if it was changed to german). Select this section and look for "ingles", "anglais" or "englisch". (These all mean "English" in spanish, french, and german, respectively.) Choose this and it should switch back to english. You cant change your language on your laptop true control panel, you need to reformat your laptop in the English language. the options in control panel is just for your regional settings and keyboard settings and so on.

only OS that you can change language in is the Vista Ultimate and then you need to install a language pack.

Though Windows Vista has multilingual capabilities, you cannot change the language in
which the toolbars,etc are displayed. If you have a French user interface
then nothing you do will turn it into English. Your only option is to buy an
English version of Vista and then do a clean install.

Did this computer have english before? from what i know, there are french versions of windows and cant be changed to english.

I don't know what the menu options are on the PS3, but the word for English in French is "Anglais", and the word for language is "Langue", so I'd try looking through the menus for those.

You need to reflash ROM. Operation is a bit risky, if you don't follow the procedure. Consider upgrade to WM5/WM6.
