My iphone 4 will not charge or turn on - Apple iPhone Smartphone

It may be the battery or the battery indicator. To fix indicator you need to restore phone in itunes. To fix battery or replace battery - apple can do that for you for 80 bucks.

If your phone is dead, that means you need to charge it. Once you have charged your phone for a decent amount of time and have a pretty sufficient amount of charge, you can try to turn it back on. If the phone STILL does not turn on after having charged it, your phone is probably just burnt out. The iPhone 4 software is a bit more outdated now. Many people are complaining of technical issues. Things just wear away over time.

Try these in this order until the issue is resolved:
1. Restart the iPhone
2. Reset the iPhone (Hold power and Home buttons until iPhone turns off)
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings
4. Bakup manually to iTunes then Restore iPhone via iTunes and set up as a new phone. (if issue persists then you have a hardware problem and need to get the iPhone 5c replaced by Apple)

First check to make sure your charger is working, plug it up to the computer and see if the battery charging display comes up.

Second I would check to make sure the battery is actually charging.

Third try a cold boot, hold the power and home keys down while it boots it could just simply be locked up.

If you're attempting to charge your iPhone using a USB cable on your computer, check that your computer is not in a power-saving mode. Computer states, like Sleep or Hibernate, do not supply enough power to the iPhone to charge it. Keep the computer turned on and in an alert state to ensure that power is flowing through the USB charger to the iPhone.

does you have tried following tricks? If yes, the battery is death and you can go to the next apple retail store and let replace the battery for 80 bugs or so... ex. tax...
1. Connect your iPhone to the charger
2. Hold the HomeButton and the StartButton together for 15-30 secounds
3. Now the iPhone has to restart
4. It's possible that you need to restore your iPhone with iTunes
5. If it's not booting, use the apple battery replacement program

yes your iphone will turn on when its getting connected to the USB..
than only it can synchronize with you mobile..
