Question about LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer

The drain line from the washer, has a filter screen that needs to be cleaned, more than likely. Remove the hose, clean anything clogged at the filter basket screen, replace the filter screen and hose, and the odor should go away.

Clean out the small holes in the gray door gasket (at the bottom) to allow water to drain back into tub. Open access door at bottom left on front of machine, use small hose to drain remaining water from machine, remove and clean out filter there. Re-install. Run washer on the tub clean cycle if you have that cycle, or if not, use the longest, hottest cycle you can, but make sure to use a commercial washer cleaner like Affresh, Washer Magic, Whirlaway hot tub cleaner, etc., with no clothes in the washer. After cleaning tub, make sure you only use one tablespoon of HE detergent per cycle, and only one teaspoon of fabric softener per cycle if you use softener.
