Did you buy an FSK CID unit for India's DTMF CID? There's an adapter or you need the right unit.

I have a Panasonic KX-TG4022 telephone. I set it to the correct time and every time I get the first incoming call it advances four hours (possibly another time zone?) How can I fix this?

Unfortunately, the Panasonic KX-TG402x phones have no way to disable this "feature" of updating the date and time from the Caller ID information. The only way to disable it is to unsubscribe from the Caller ID service from your telephone provider. See the FAQ here: https://panasoniccustomercommunity.force.com/default/s/article/Telephone-Date-and-Time-Change . Look at the bottom of the page for the section about your phone model.

I wish that I had better news for you.

Panasonic KX-TGA101S Cordless bought from US not working in Chennai Telephones ,BSN L(India). Can I have the name of Converter which help it work in compatable frequency for caller ID Thanks Ravindran P

There isn't any converter available. The technology used for caller ID is different and the telephone was made for US use. There's no way to change the telephone to make it compatible. You will need to either get a new telephone made for your country, or find an external caller ID display unit.

KX TG1061 panasonic phone called id not working in India

Hi,
Try connecting your phone to some other phone lines in which the caller id is working properly and this way you can check if the problem is with your device or line.

For all the phones to display the caller information properly, CLID (caller line identification service) should be enabled for your landline connection. Please contact your phone line provider to enable this service and you should be able to see the caller id information in your panasonic device.

I hope this is helpful to you
thanks

Only stupids buy cordless phone from Singapore. India uses ETSI DTMF standard for Caller ID which is not supported by any cordless phone sold in Singapore. It is about time you trash your worthless instrument in the dumpster.

Caller ID/CLIP) not working in Panasonic cordless

Well if the phone has been bought abroad and being used in India you will face this problem. this is because of the format of transmitting the caller id info being different. In USA it is STF and in India it is DTMF. You need a convertor in the phone line which is DTMF to STF. IF you find onw in Delhi pl let me also know.

Caller ID not working

Hi,

I don't think the problem is the FSK vs. DTMF. The manual even states that the caller ID is generally received after the second ring. This is true in America. I lived in India for four months and I never ran into the problem there so... I just can't say how your provider sends the caller ID. It may be that the line is being interfered with. Do you have a DSL line attached to the same device. If so make sure that there is a filter between you phone and its connection.

I am assuming that you tested your line with the other equipment connected to the same location. You may want to reduce the problem to the simplest configuration by connecting directly to the line only no other equipment. If it works add the other equipment until the caller ID stops again. Then you know what is interfering. If you have a monitor set you could listen to the DTMF being sent make sure it is coming between the first and second ring. It is audible if it is there. If you are answering on the first ring you will not see caller ID you have to wait till after the second ring then you should see it, If BSNL is sending the same as American systems. Good luck Z

Caller id not working

US phones use Bellcore FSK caller id. India uses DTMF caller id. Buy a DTMF- FSK converter at a telecom shop.
