Sanyo Condensing unit. blower fan doesnt come on unless unit runs,but unit only runs for about one minute and shuts off. led #6on cond. unit blinks and led on evap. coil #26 also blinks unit needs to be turned off\on for it to restart.

100% sounds like an electrical problem, something is not allowing it to go into a duty cycle.

Most thermostats and condensing units have delays up to 5 minutes if you shut a system down and then RN it back on. Is the blower running if you switch fan to on? Where did you shut it down at? The thermostat or breaker?

Have you checked all the limit switches you have rollout switches also take a meter and see if you have continuity across the switch if you don't then the switch is open. Some have reset switches but some don't if it has reset switches push the red button and reset it if it doesn't have a reset then you need to purchase one, you have a limit switch open somewhere. Is your thermostat on auto or fan on if its on fan on it will run all the time.

First, when you say why doesn't it cycle, can you be more specific? Is the fan not running, always running and doesn't shut off, outide unit not running? What exactly is not cycling

Most fans only run when the compressor runs, it must be wired wrong, OR if the unit has a computer control (LED digital display) it may be the main board has shorted, you can try unplugging it and let it sit for 10 minutes, then replug it. ALSO sometimes there are sensors that sense the temurature and will kick on a fan if they are out of parameter, changing sensors if they are malfuntioning can fix this as well...

Did the 2 fans have the same rpm. If there is not enough airflow through the outside unit the compressor will shutdown on high discharge pressure. Also make sure the fan blades are positioned right if there is a shroud for them. Did the other motor have a capacitor with it or did you use the 1 from the smaller motor. Sometimes the motor data plate will tell you what size capacitor you need. Let me know what you find.

check freon to low or to high. must be charged liquid 410 tank upside down.

Black wire goes to contactor. On your capacitor the brown wire goes on one side the blue and the other wire from your contactor goes on the other sideof the capacitor. Russ

does the furnace ignite?? your system may not have been lighting and has gone into ignition lockout count the codes of the led lights then remove panel led diagnostic codes are listed there.
if led codes indicate no problem verify capacitor is good and that mtr is getting 115 volts.

Your blower fan turning on and off shows your thermostat is working. I am willing to bet you have the fan in the automatic condition. Check for a sticking contactor at the outside unit.
