Maybe you mean log on password. If you never enter a password to log on, but suddenly when turning on the computer, you are prompted to enter a password to log on, but always failed. You try to log in using an administrator user but failed. Chances are, the operating system is infected with viruses.
So, the operating system has controlled the virus.

solution:
Install the new operating system (not repair the operating system)

It means somebody is trying to access to your account & made few failed attempts. But no worries, it's a normal security precaution which will eventually locked the account to prevent the unauthorized user from getting in successfully. This lock down usually will last 24hours after the failed attempts made by the unauthorized user.
Go to this main Yahoo! logging site & insert the correct ID & password of your account. The first attempt may prove failure, second attempts will lead you to the "word verification system" which is to make sure that you are not "bots".
