Just got the unit and cannot listen to am-fm, is the avx p-7300 dvd pioneer have the option or do I have to buy an add on brain? Also I dont know how to control the volume,do I need the right remote?
You can use it with any pioneer cd player,just connect the IP-BUS connector output(blue connector) to the IP-BUS input on the back of the radio(blue connector or cd changer connector)
This way you can control the volume with the cd player,but you can just use it as cd or dvd player only.
ps.
Don't forget to connect the pwr line (YELLOW WIRE) to 12v constant.
