SOURCE: Philips 42PF7320A blinks 3 times every time i hit the power button
We are having a similar issue with this same TV - Phillips 42PF7320A/37. The TV turns itself on/off and makes a clicking noise when doing so -- until it finally goes dormant and the green light blinks on the front of the TV (in some cases this light turns red). We finally need to unplug the TV because it will not repond.
We purchased a small signal board (SSB) and replaced it yesterday. We thought this resolved the issue, but after 10 minutes, it did the same thing.
Any thoughts for us?

I do agree with the tech but if the green led don't come on and the 7-blink error code is still there. check the connector from the logic board that will be the board under the small signal baord. The small signal board have the AV input on it. Check the connector from the logic board to the power supply there should be one connectore btween those 2 boards. On the power supply side second pin from the left it will say Vs_On if the set has 0 volts the proble is the SSB or the logic board. how to determain that is to Use 2 Jumpers to short J8003 & J8004 on the left edge of the PSU (see figure below).
Use 1 Jumper to short CN2012 on the lower left part of the Logic PCB (this will supply a 100% White signal to the Display).
Plug in the AC to the PSU thru CN8001.
If PDP panel operates with White field screen then problem may be the SSB.

This what to do measure from the logic board which is located under the small signal board and have the AV jacks connected to it. If the voltage is 3.1 or close the problem is with the power supply or a boar connected to the power supply. Unplug the set. Disconnect the Y main board first that will be on the left side of the set facing the back. Plug the set back in if the led is solid replace the Y main and the Y upper lower. If still blinking plug the Y main back in and unplug the X main which is on the right side facing the back. If the led is green replace the X main. If the led is still blinking replace the power supply.
But if the volts are 0 the problem is the SSB or the logic board. In that case take the (SSB) small signal board out the set and place 1 jumper on J8003 and another jumper J8004 of the left side of the power supply. Then place 1 jumper on CN2072 of the lower left part of the logic board. Plug the set back in if the set displays a white, blue ect screen replace the SSB. If not and on the logic board you don't have 1 solid blue led and 1 blinking led data is not flowing and change the logic board.

hello, amigo if the all the caps are godd then you have to replace the power supply board. don't try to fix it this is not an easy task. you are looking at almost $200.00 with tax an shipping. just go to google and type your tv model # and ask for the power supply board or just look for the part# on the board itself. good luck
