Where can i get a manual for my freud ft2000e router.can anyone help,

You can contact Freud directly, they do have large U.S. operation and carry most spares. The Parts and Repair department is (800) 334-4107 to order the parts you need.

You can order your switch from Freud at (800) 334-4107. It is number 42 on the parts breakdown which you access at: http://www.freudtools.com/images/manuals/FT2000VCE.pdf
Freud's part number is 76325.7001

It doesn't seem like anyone stocks Freud parts. Went to some discussion sites and found that even repair centers don't stock them. You'll have to contact them directly.

To answer your question about the router springs.You must first remove the cap carefully to prevent any damage to the speed module. Under the cap you will find two nuts first lock the base and leave about 2 inches for a socket to go over the nut .Remove normally and be careful when you release the base do it slowly it will spring up fast and hard --

You have a couple options, I found a website for Freudtools.com where you can find a dealer near you or you can call Freud direct at 1-800-334-4107 to order the brushes. The part number I saw that you need is 13413.9073 but you might want to double check me on that . let me know if I can help further
