Hello I'm in Brazil can not resolve error in my SC990 Ricoh Aficio 2045eSP. This error pops up after 10 copies or printing. Already exchanged cylinder, blade, developer and toner new. Please help me.

Why change the drum, blade, developer ????? You had problems with print quality?? I think it was just spending money ....
You have a network problem or machine firmware. To remove the doubts plug a laptop directly to the machine with a cable (Not necessary a croos cable). This may be a virus network or a broken swith.

Service SC 990 RICOH Aficio 551

sc990 is a general software error. It could be caused by a specific application or function, or it could be caused by a problem with the process control. In general, you can get rid of the sc990 error by turning the machine off with the main power switch (the orange switch on the left side of the copier) but if the error comes right back, the best first solution is to update the machine's firmware.

I have A problem of SC990 in the ricoh aficio 2035/45 and also I get light copies and over tonning problem.

The light copies and overtoning is probably caused by the developer going bad. Do you have a service contract on your copier? It's likely time for a whole PM (preventive maintenance) procedure.

The sc990 is probably caused by the copier's condition as well. Once you have the PM done (or at least replace the developer, rebuild the photoconductor unit, and clean or rebuild the transfer unit) the sc990 codes should go away along with the poor copy quality.

If you use Katun OPC drum in your machine and is work more 80000 copies you need to replace the OPC drum and the drum cleaning blade.After replace the drum perform the process comtrol and the SC990 disipaire.Whenever use other genuine parts and not original Ricoh parts appair SC codes to refer HDD parts.100% this method is working.

Sc990 on Aficio 1035

Software performance error The software attempted to perform an unexpected operation.
Software defective Internal parameter incorrect
Insufficient working memory When this SC occurs, the file name, address, and data will be stored in NVRAM. This information can be
checked by using SP7-403. Note the above data and the situation in which this SC occurs. Then report the data and conditions to your technical control center.

Ok, that's the "OFFICIAL" meaning, in reality, EVERY TIME I'v had this, it took a PM or at least a Developer change and a good idea to replace the Drum and Drum Cleaning Blade too, Be sure and run the setups too.
Enter the service mode.
Clear modes, 1,0,7 and hold down the Clear/Stop key. Press COPY SP on the display and enter the following info.
SP2001 = 1480V
SP2201 = 600V
SP2801 (after new developer is installed)
SP2805 (after new drum and developer is installed)
SP3001-2 (after cleaning the ID sensor and/or replacing the drum)
SP7804
SP7807

My home Aficio 2035 often displays sc 990. Please help solve

Generally changing the cylinder (blade and developer) and adjust normaly TD sensor and ID sensor, usually it is solved. If it is not thus it proves the following thing: press point and numeral (enter) simultaneously for more than 10 seconds until this is extinguished clarifies the service call. If the problem persists can be the hard disk, change.

Ricoh aficio 2045eSP

Please make a power off and then start it. Let it to initialize then install the Ink Bottle. Make it off again. and then power on.

Try to check it out and print.
