HTC HD2. Just out of warranty. Added Android 2.2. Loaded & ran Android Market place apps. No physical damage at all. No dropping on floors, etc. Have two new batteries, fully charged, spare cables working ok. Now the phone cannot light up at all - battery or cable connected. Completely dead.

You would have to make a google account and configure it one your Android device. And then go to market and search for the desired app.

but if you have HD2 then,

for htc HD2 windows mobile : download the WMDC (windows mobile device center) for win7/vista PC or PC SYNC 4.5 for XP and install it to use your Windows phone 6.5 device.

Prerequisite to run Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2

1. Flash HardSPL3 on HTC HD2
2. Flash any HTC HD2 Radio ROM Leo_RADIO 2.08 onward

Note - Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2 is not perfect yet compare the actual Android phone HTC Desire. Some functions are not working. And I got white and black screen of death (SOD) sometimes. But it is getting better and better each day. Hoping it will out perform actual Android phone out there soon.

Try downloading the Playon app from the android marketplace and on your computer. Some tv stations have live broadcasts you are able to view through your 3g or wireless phone connection to your computer. www.playon.tv/playon has detailed instructions.

depends if its from a pc (internet) save the file to a file on your pc then transfer the file onto your phone. if from market place just download. i would suggest using o market like market place but eerything is free make sure you read reviews because some of the stuff will mess up your phone

Yes the Android OS Has a Kill Switch.

This doesnt meen google can start removing everything from your phone. the Kill switch is in place for security reasons. because the android market is open source unlike Iphones Appstore. the Applications are scanned but due to the Open-ness they arent screened as Rigorously as by Apple (who only let certain apps into their store).

The kill switch is ONLY in place if there is a Malicious / Broken app that can potentially damage and/or hack your phone.

The kill switch is a GOOD thing. u dont wanna download an application only to find out it damages your phone or Does something wrong to the Android OS do you ?
