Hi,
ok so 7 flashes is a speed pot related error, you need to make sure that the speed pot is in the central position , look under the stem and you should see a cross head , now that should be straight not at slight angle, without you touching the throttle lever , if you have a meter disconnect the pot and take a resistance reading, it should show about 2.5K - using the centre tap , if it is a 5K pot fitted , in fact for that controller it should be a 5K pot , please check the terminal connections on the controller, good fitting and clean.
Take leave feedback.

hi have checked it for fitment and changed it for another 5k ohm pot still flashing not sure how to check ohms accros terminals to find out if its at the said 2.5 k any ideas ? does it have a reset at all ?? many thanks
ok select resistance on your meter, put one probe o nthe centre leg and one on either the right or left hand leg to get about a 2.5K to 2.9K reading, you must discoonect the potr fro mthe controller before you take readings, the pot has to be dead centre if it's slightly off that will create a fault with the controller if you're are in the uk you can send it to me so I can test it.

I have a Gopher with a Dynamnic DS100 controller. It fails to porceed and the error light is flashing 8 times. Does any ne know what this error means?
hi, you need to check the connections to the motor, so follow the cable out of the motor to the plug connection, clean here using a contact cleaner and make sure the terminals are clean, then proceed to follow the cable to the controller checking there are no breaks or burn areas etc. if you have a meter remove the cable plug end and check the motor resistance , should be around 0.4 ohms and the other two sockets are for the brake , check that it should read around 50ohms.
