I have got problem with the charger. Some short circuit happened. Can i get it repaired?

Same happened to me on a keyboard kindle. I found a very helpful repairer who swapped batteries but still couldn't make it work. He said that a component in the circuits had failed and that repair was uneconomical since a new circuit board was required. He didn't charge me! There is of course a chance that your charger has failed. Find another kindle user and borrow the charger.

It sounds like one of two things. Either there is a short circuit in your camera that is draining the battery or the camera's battery charger circuit is not charging the battery. There are a few things you can do. You can send the camera to Nikon USA for repair (look on the Nikon website for the address the closest repair center). The other thing you could do is buy an inexpensive external charger for the battery and see if the camera works for a resonable period after charging the batteries externally. Adorama.com carries both the Nikon and off brand models and will give you the best price. It that works, you know that the camera's battery charging circuit is the problem. If that is the case, you could pass on repairing the camera and just use the external charger. If that does not solve the problem, the camera will need to be repaired.

This indicates a short circuit. The notebook is powering itself off to prevent damage.

Remember the charger should only ever be connected to your notebook while the charger is OFF.
Once coonected then power the charger on, this will prevent the wires from coming into contact with each other.

You may need a computer technician to repair the charge point.

Is that a laptop ? i pressume yes.
Take a look at the charger first if you got power at the cable that fits to the laptop, use a miltimeter or ..using a cable short circuit the + and - of the jack for half a second to see if any spark happens. Carefull with this, chargers got short circuit protection but dont push it hard. one - two times for half a second. Positive pole is inside the jack and negative outside (mostly) , if your usnure of how to do it better go to a specialist to check it for you.
If your charger finally supplies with power the motherboard and your PC does not power up there are 3 other matters to concider . But you need to visit a repair store for this cause its not something easy to mess up with.
1st.. A Small Safety diode has been damaged and need to be replaced with same or similar inside the power unit of the laptop. 2nd..Your laptop's Power plug is damaged and needs eighter cleaning or perplacement. 3rd...There is a problem with the motherboard or with the power board inside the laptop with something called pulse pilot signal or a chipset is defective.

If you have replaced the battery and having the same problem, it has to be a hardware issue. The device must be having either a leakage problem or a partial short circuit.It even could be the charger circuit. Either way you will have to be well versed to diagnose the fault and then do the repair which involves minute soldering job.These Portable players use very small surface mounted devices called SMD's which event experts find difficult to replace.Technology is becoming "Use And Throw ". The repair job might cost as much as a new one !!.

This problem is very common and can be because of any of these reasons-

1-Wrong Charger,in case you are using some other charger ..i mean other than the one which came with your TOSHIBA laptop.

2-The transformer of the charger is releasing more than the rated voltage.

3-The earth terminal (one of 3 terminals of charger pin) is short (not working)..

I would recommend you to get TOSHIBA CHARGER OF SAME MODEL from your friend or go to TOSHIBA STORE and ask them for TOSHIBA (ORIGINAL) and connect it to see whether laptop its charging or not.

If it works then you need to change your charger

and if not,then you need to get the charging circuit repaired.

NEVER USE SOME OTHER CHARGER (OTHER THAN TOSHIBA) IT CAN SHORTEN THE LIFE OF YOUR BATTERY AND CAN EVEN SHORT YOUR CHARGING CIRCUIT.

If the batteries are indeed of the correct type and voltage (you can get no-life or short-life even on a new battery by mixing LiIon with NiMH batteries, for example), then the only likely explanation is that the charging circuit is out of kilter. Unfortunately, there's no user-accessible way of repairing it; you'll need to send it to Sony technical assistance.

Other possible, though unlikely, causes are: dirty battery contacts (you can clean them with a cotton earswab, dry or slightly wet with circuit cleaning fluid or isopropyl alcohol); problems with external chargers; low utility voltage resulting in a lower-than-normal voltage to the battery (this only happens in weird line conditions and with older chargers. I'd say its likelyhood is nil. But you never know; if you have a DIY electric multimeter, you may want to check the VCC rating of the charger).

the 3 cla charger might be your problem

My charger (24 v) died also and repair shop wanted too many $ for repair. I happened on-to a charger for a printer (24v 1 amp) at the thrift store for $3.00 and fashioned a connector for connecting to the battery. It takes about 3 hrs to charge the battery but you must disconnect manually. It has been working for many months. It will do for me untill i find a bargan on ebay. The repair shop said that the part that failed was not a component that can be changed. (Multyfunction chip) Hope this helps for the short term. Enjoy

i guess theres a problem with the board of your cellphone,there might be some components that has been shorted out and thats the reason why it drains battery so fast and it shutsdown upon connecting to the usb
