Remove the finger guard from inside the hopper. Problem solved, as long as you don't stick your fingers in the grinder, which would be a different problem :-).
I have the same problem. Not a solution, but you can still take the ground beans and brew coffee, using the pre-ground compartment.

Are the grounds wet or dry?
the grounds are dry, it's like theres not enough coffee coming through grinder
I got a small pipe cleaner and cleaned the part were the ground coffee should come out of the grinder, it can sort of be reach were u but pre ground coffee, there should be a little foil flap at this covering, when I cleaned it out I found that there was alot of realy hard ground coffee, I think it might have from when it was tested in factory, after I just made sure it was on the finest coarse and made sure was full of beans on top always, hasn't happened since and that was over 2 months ago. Hope this is any help because I couldn't find any on the Internet.
