Whenever i burn a dvd with Roxio "Easy" CD &

Whenever i burn a dvd with Roxio "Easy" CD & DVD Burning it burns succesfully but is still blank and won't play... wtf???? i used Free DVD Creator v2 to convert my movies files from mp4 and avi to DVD format and then use Roxio to try to burn them onto my blank DVD-Rs.. i am using a Dell XPS 15 laptop with Windows 7... very frustrating.. i tried using the Windows DVD Maker with the same problem.. anyone know whats up? i just got the laptop brand new a week ago so i cant imagine the dvd burner is dead already

The service packs are trying to stop pirating software.

Not very good software. TRY Nero Express and Power DVD

i downloaded Power DVD but it seems to be just a media player what do i do with it?

oh i think i just got the wrong program i got CyberLink PowerDVD and i need Power DVD with a space

i really wish that was it but just tried it with nero and got the same thing!!! could it be the discs? i just went through about 7 or 8 discs all no good.

Remove it and re-install it. It's possible something went wrong during install. Check also that all the drivers are uptodate.

I can't install a program with my cd dvd rom after installing Easy cd & dvd burning I un-instaled Roxio and problem not fixed.

use this tool to reset the cd in the registry
after you run the file - reboot the computer -

When installing Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning in Vista message pops up saying the software is incompatible.

Yes, Roxio Easy CD is not compatible with Windows Vista. You either need to remove windows Vista and install Windows XP, or purchase the newest, latest copy of Roxio.

the Roxio Easy that u are loading on your windows is a new version
so why it can not run on an old version on windows like yours
so try to replace your windows 2000 by the new version of it .
