You could try a different player, to try to eliminate the player as the problem.
A piece of equipment can have a vulnerability that prevents it processing properly any particular piece of data.
You could try different burning software, there are lots out there, that perhaps has a different variation on the codec used,
If you are doing what I do, burning a collextion of video files to a DVD, you could try assembling the files to a playable image and burning that. Again there are imafe making utiliites available.
DVDs come in two types, DVD+R and DVD-R. Try the other type.
Get a media player, the last i bought was only $55, and watch from a portable hard drive.
