Hi-Our GE spacemaker phone will no longer record messages when someone attempts to leave a message. The phone will just ring and never attempt to record. It was working fine for until recently. We have unplugged/powered down the unit bu the problem persists. Thank you.

Many models of the GE microwave have sensors that can detect humidity from the foods you are cooking. This allows the microwave to make adjustments to the power levels used to cook your food. If "Sensor Error" appears, you should either press "Clear" to cancel the mode or leave the food in the appliance longer to give the microwave more time to detect the food.

Press "Time Cook" to manually enter the time if you receive an error message when trying to use the "Sensor Reheat" mode of your GE microwave. The error message may be caused by the food item being too large or too small to detect..

This is a common problem the turntable motor has failed, it can be replaced.. but Microwaves are VERY dangerous. Due to the enormous energy stored in the main Capacitor, this MUST be discharged to earth B4 attempting any repairs. apart from that though should be easy enough. I do recommend a reputable service center/man tho.

It would be best to download a new installer and reinstall the program.

On the phone not ringing, just push the volume up button while the phone is not in use, that should adjust the ringer volume. As for the message saying that calls are being routed to an automatic message sertvice, that sounds like a voice mail offering from your service provider, not the phone. Uniden phones have a default greeting that says "Hello, no one is availible to take your call, please leave a message after the tone" Contact your service provider and find out if you have voice mail service on your line. If you do and want to use the answering machine on your phone, you will need the service provider to allow for more rings before the voice mail service takes the call.

make sure you retrieve all messages . I mean you may have 0 new messages, but you have lots of old messages ,it may full too.
Otherwise, delete all message, try to record incoming message or record your personal greating. Make sure the record function work, record chip works as well.

I have model no. 1188 bellsouth digital answering machine. If you have to leave a message, the message I recorded is no longer there, there is a generic message saying please record your message. How do I go back and record my voice with my message. I cannot find my original manual.

I can't seem to get the security code entered.  It won't change.  None of the numbers will change when I try to set it up.

I'm assuming this is a digital recorder and does not use a tape. Any chance the memory is full and you need to erase messages to free up space for new recordings?
