How to get the page count on a Ricoh Aficio copier

On Ricoh's Aficio line of copiers, you can get the page count without having to print out a configuration page or status page. To see the page count of an Aficio copier, follow the steps below.

For models with touch screens:

With the copier turned on, press the User Tools/Counter button on the operation panel. (If User Tools and Counter are two separate buttons on the model you are using, press the Counter button, and the page count will be displayed -- that's all there is to it.) When the User Tools menu appears on the screen, press the Counter button on-screen (typically located in the lower left or lower right corner).

The copier's page count will be displayed on the screen. For copiers with additional functions (such as printing) the page count will also be broken down by function. Color copiers will display a color page count and a black and white page count, but not a total count.

You can print out a hard copy of the page count if you want it for your records, or to fax somewhere. To print the counter, press the Print button on the screen, then press the Start button (on the right side of the operation panel).

For models without a touch screen:

With the copier turned on, press the User Tools/Counter button on the operation panel (typically located just to the left or right of the display screen). The User Tools options will appear. If Counter is the highlighted option, press the OK button to select it; otherwise, use the arrow buttons to select Counter, then press OK.

The counter will be displayed on screen, but you can print it out by pressing the selection button below where Print is displayed, then pressing Start.

I have a MFC 9840 CDW Brother laser printer and every time I send a document to it, the yellow light just starts to flash and never prints out like it typically used to do.

Gently Re Mount Printer Cartridge and Try to give print again.. Sometimes Faulty USB Cables also does the same thing. Buy New One.. IF everything is perfect, The Printer's Page Counter Might be Reached Maximum Count and you may need to reset the page counter.. Refer online manuals to reset page counters.

Thanks.

Kyocera FS6525MFP - How do I get it to display the number of copies already printed when I have a large job, such as 100 or 300 copies.

Press "System Menu / Counter" button. Press "Report". Press "Report Print". Press "Status Page". Press "Yes". The Status Page will print. Look for Counters in the right column just over 1/2 way down, then follow it down 4 lines to Total. The total page output is just to the right of the Total. Note don't use the Total at the bottom of the page, that is for scanned pages.

Parts inside printer are at the end of their serivce life

In the printer software there is a counter that after printing a certain amount of pages (depending of the printer model) will display the error message and block all printing. The solution is to reset the counter to 0.
Download the http://www.ssclg.com/download/sscserve.exe (its free) once download completed click on the sscservve.exe to launch the setup of SCC service utility. When you close the program, a printer icon should appear on you taskbar.
Using the application:
Right click on the printer icon:
Among the different options provided select the Protection counter option.
Select the Show current value option. You should obtain information about the current value (number of pages already printed) and maximum value.
If the current value is greater than the maximum value, this indicates that the problem is due to the number of pages already printed.
Reselect the Protection counter option, click on the Reset protection counter and then on Clear Counteroverflow option.
The current value should be reset to 0
Restart your PC , your problem should be solved.

Print out counter info

Hi Beadworker,

This information can be found by printing a configuration page from your printer. Follow these steps to print out a configuration page.

Printing a Configuration Page
You can print a configuration page from the printer’s control
panel. Use the configuration page to view the current settings,
to help troubleshoot problems, or to verify the installation of
optional accessories, such as memory or an optional tray.
To print a configuration page:
1 In ready mode, press the Menu button on the control
panel until you see “Information” on the bottom line of the
display.
2 Press the Enter button to access the menu.
3 Press the Enter button when “Configuration” displays
on the bottom line.
A configuration page prints out.

How to reset counter or access service menu? After certain amount of printed pages LED indicates "drum has to be replaced". I am sure that this is too early. Because it likes to print clear pages (e.g. if...

Of course, the printer settings can be changed via the standard print options menu in Windows but to reset the counter is done when a new cartridge is installed. But this is how I would proceed... Since the printer and the cartridge are in "cahoots", I'd not give them the chance to communicate. Do this: Place some tape over the electronic contacts on the cartridge. (This prevents the printer and cartridge communicating) Then... Setup another printer icon using the HP Laserjet 4 (MS) printer driver. (This ensures no communication between the installed software and the printer). This should allow you to print some more, but not duplex of course. Remember to shake the cartridge from side to side in order to loosen impacted toner. ZT3000 "Beta tester of "0"s and "1's
