I have seen a couple of ways to get at the batteries on a wireless mouse. One is to look at the bottom to find a standard battery cover complete with a little finger slot that allows the plate to be lifted off from the bottom surface of the mouse.

The other is a sliding latch at the back of the bottom surface of the mouse body that releases the battery flap which then lifts upward. The flap is the backside skin of the top of the mouse.

My mini wireless optical mouse will not pair

I think you are facing pairing problem, solution is here, First of all please understand ‘what is pairing’ Pairing is theprocess of coordinating your mouse's transmitter with your mouse's receiver. Itrequires both parts to operate on the same frequencies, usually by using thesame identification code. Pairing takes place to try to eliminate interference. Some devices automatically pair both devices at start up; others need to bemanually paired. Step 1. Plug in RF DONGLE into USB port, Step 2. Put the batteriesin mouse (in right direction, see batteries. Direction symbols in the battery compartment +/- signs) andplace the batteries. Cover, Now you can see thered light glowing on the bottom of the mouse, now your mouse is ready topairing There is two buttons for pairing the mouse BUTTON 1 – this on the RF DONGLE, top/up side BUTTON 2 - this is at the bottom of the wireless mouse, NOTE- after pressing button-1, one time, your RF DONGLE willbe ON SERCH MODE for 7 seconds, Step 3, now press BUTTON 1, one time, and move the mouse, ifmouse curser is not moving then press BUTTON 2 one time – now defiantly yourmouse will work, If you need any other technical support for GMAX, products please contact satish kumar (countryhead gmax technologies)

Optical wireless mini mouse 98763 feature #9 is

I had all the same problems listed in fixit and found that all it took was placing all NEW batteries in the mouse.
Press the blue light button on the USB and the little black reset button on the bottom of the mouse at the same time. Worked good from there on.

Brand New Wireless GE Mini Mouse 98807 - trying to set up with brand new Acer Netbook. Light comes on mouse but will not sync with receiver.

I would suggest trying new batteries as well as making sure the receiver is about 8in to 12in from the mouse and at least 6in from the monitor. If you are still not able to connect, uninstall any drivers you have install for this mouse, reboot your pc and reinstall the software 1st, then connect the hardware and reboot your pc.

Good Luck

How do i open the battery compartment on ge wireless optical mini mouse 98792

The mouse requires 2 AAA batteries.

The piece of plastic on both sides of the embedded dongle, where your palm would rest on the mouse, is the compartment for the batteries. You need to slide the piece of plastic away from the direction of the mouse buttons. You will then be able to put the batteries inside and slip the piece of plastic back on.

Change batteries in my wireless mouse

There should be a battery compartment on the bottom of your mouse. It might have a small screw holding it in place. Open & remove old battery, replace with fresh battery. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
