PARTS NUMBER

Hello Jerry;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

You need to provide a model number for me to give you the gasket part number and price. The model number is on a label in your fresh food section on the upper side wall.

You have a bottom freezer, Right? These bottom freezer drawers are had to seal all of the time. They can get off track and not seal properly. It is not uncommon for them to ice up around the door gasket.

Lets try this first:

1.) Clean the gasket.

2.) With a hair dryer and a kitchen spatula, Heat the gasket while pulling gentle out on the gasket, to expand the gasket.

3.) Run a piece of paper between the gasket and the freezer front. If you can do this, then you still do not have a solid seal.

Water on door

If you mean that you have condensation on the outside of the door, then you probably have a broken seal or the door is not closing completely. Open the door and check the seal for cracks or breaks. If it is dirty use a solution of bleach and water to clean it. To test the seal use a heavy piece of paper and close the door on it and see if you can pull it out. Do this all around the seal. If it is bad you will need to replace it. Here is a link to the seal http://www.partselect.com/PS783791-GE-WR24X10132-Fresh-Food-Door-Gasket-Black.htm?SourceCode=1&SearchTerm=GSH25SGRESS&ModelNum=GSH25SGRESS
Good luck!

Need upper and lower sealing gaskets for Rival Seal-A-Meal VS107

I've been told you can order replacement gaskets from Rival, about $6/set 1-800-557-4825 and $8 shipping, so may want to stock up (prices were quoted from 2012)

Freezer not cold enough to keep food frozen. The door does not have a tight seal . It is a sidebyside , Jenn-Air model number JCD2289AEW.

The door magnet must be tightly seal, check the door gasket for some deformities. If there is, that really cause the freezer not to be cold enough. It would mean, the cold air is flow outside hence not penetrating the inside so the food and drink heat are not absorbed. You can adjust door gasket using screw driver.
Thanks for asking.

A Ø43 mm rubber gasket broke - where do I get a new?

I have found seal/o-ring kits available on ebay Germany. Make sure you get the food grade lubricant to apply to the seals as well.
