MY GRANDDAUGHTER TURNED ON/OFF OUR T.V REPEATEDLY NOW THE TV WILL ONLY TURN ON OR OFF AFTER UNPLUGGING, WHEN THE TV COMES ON IT IS STUCK ON 1 CHANNEL AND YOU CAN'T ADJUST THE CHANNELS OR THE VOLUMN. DO NOT HAVE THE REMOTE SO I CAN'T TRY THAT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS WORTH THE FIXING OR MAYBE ONLY A FUSE. THANK YOU DUSTI SHIEL

Can you please check the CH+ CH- keys if any of them stuck.

1. Unplug the TV from electrical power. Leave it unplugged for about ten minutes.

Try firmware update on the Polaroid TV for appropriate model

The Sanyo codes appear to be 620, 801, 931 . Turn on the TV, press and hold Set-up until the light comes on and enter the three digit code. Check if the TV responds (volume, channel). If not try the next code.

To search all codes: turn on the TV, press and hold the Set-up button. Then press Channel + slowly but repeatedly until the channel changes. Press Enter (if you overshoot, press Channel - to before pressing enter.) To record the code, turn on the TV, press and hold Set-up, then press Set-up again and type 0-9 individually until the indicator light blinks. That is digit 1, repeat the search from 0-9 for the other two digits.

If your TV was released ~6 months before the remote was programmed or is newer than the remote, then the code you need may not be in the remote's programming. In that case, you need a newer remote, one of the remotes that is programmable (USB to a computer), or a remote specific to your TV (try remotes.com and search on the TV model - leave off the brand name).

Try removing the batteries from the remote control, as a button may be stuck and is causing a repeated signal to be sent to the TV, possibly overriding any manual button actions.

Also unplug the TV for a few minutes and then plug it back in. You said that it wouldn't turn on when pressing the channel buttons on the TV, try the power button instead.

i am not sure but that would scare the **** out of me

turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work.You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.

My tv will not turn on. We had been away for a week and no power interuption at home. We have unpluged the tv for short and long periods of time . We we attempt to turn the power on it cuts off by itself.
