KVT-817dvd MANUAL LINK

Yes - there is a separate receiver unit.

CLICK HERE to see all the available parts to the unit.

Look at the installation part of the manual to determine which harnesses you will need.

Thanks!!

I have a JVC RX 817 receiver. I have power, but no sound function. Can someone help me?

Unless you are an electronics engineer, it is unlikely you can fix. Look on the back for a fuse holder. If there is check it with a multimeter. It may be protecting the audio parts. Make sure you don't have a button press for a different audio source than what you think and also check if you have switchable speaker outputs. Finally make sure the speakers are connected and the dog hasn't pulled them out.

Strangely there are far more Service Manuals and no Owner Manual!!

How to connect speakers logitech z 5500 to the TV Samsung UN32F5500 32-Inch 1080p 60Hz Slim Smart LED

Hello there!
I have seen manuals of both the systems. You have two options to connect Logitech z5500 speakers to Samsung UN32F5500 TV.
1. With Optical Audio Cable.

0daa0bcc-2410-4f3f-9f1b-001ec53d8ec3.jpg

2. Stereo Ear Phone Connection.
Simply plug in Green earphone cable of Logitech Speakers to Green Audio out Jack described on Page 7 of the TV manual. If you are using stereo EP you may not experience 5.1sound separation. And it is also mentioned that you should not use other two audio cables of the tri-EP-cable provided with Logitech speakers.

Have a nice day!

I cannot hear any sound from my Dell monitor 1702FP. Are there speakers installed within the monitor?. VGA cable is connected. When I use a spare monitor using the VGA cable the sound is loud and clear. ...

The Dell 1702FP doesn't have speakers. The specs of the Dell 1702FP are available here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/monitors/1702fp/en/specs.htm . (BTW neither does the Dell 1704FPT.) However, some Dell monitors can have a sound bar (speaker set-up) mounted on the monitor.

VGA cables don't carry sound. Check if a second cable (an audio patch cable is connected to the computer and the second monitor). (There are some cables that actually bundle the 3.5 mm patch cable with the video cable for convenience. (I've seen a number of DVI cables with that bundle option.) The plugs will separate into separate units at each end.

Other monitors do have speakers built in - look for a 3.5 mm audio input jack with the rest of the input connections on your monitor. There are some monitors that accept an HDMI input with a 3.5 mm audio out jack; these monitors don't have speakers and thus are enabling a daisy chain to connect the speakers to the monitor. So you do need to be careful and look for the audio in label.

You can attach a set of speakers to your computer using the audio out (look for a lime green 3.5 mm jack on the back of a desktop). For laptops or to use the front audio ports, look for a headphone jack.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with more information about your monitor and computer for additional assistance.

Cant figure out how to hook them up

Two audio input cables are supplied with the speakers. If your computer has a stereo mini jack, use the cable with a stereo mini plug. Otherwise, use the cable with RCA plugs on both ends. Match the colors on the connectors to the colors on the jacks, red to red and white to white.
The speaker cable is already attached at one end to the accessory speaker. Plug the other end into the TO ACCESSORY SPEAKER jack on the powered speaker.
1. Connect one end of the audio input cable to AUDIO INPUTS A. 2. Connect the other end to your computer's AUDIO OUTPUT jack. We recommend using LINE OUT if your computer sound card offers more than one option. 3. To connect a separate CD-ROM, or another source, repeat steps 1 and 2 using AUDIO INPUTS B.
You must connect the AC power pack to operate the speakers. 1. Plug its cable end into the power jack on the powered speaker. 2. Plug the power pack blades into the wall outlet. 3. Turn on your computer sound source or external sound source.

Dear Sirs, I have a Pioneer AV Receiver model VSX-817 and is connected to Monitor Audio Speakers (Fronts: BR5, Center: BR-LCR, Rears: BR1), Sub: MS309 (Mordaunt Short). I have connected each front...

Did you remember to remove the shorting link on the MA BR5 speaker terminal ..When you biwire the speakers you should remember to loosen the speaker terminal nuts and remove the shorting link plate between the HF and the LF terminals or you will short the amplifiers two channels together through the link. And modern amplifiers will take a lot of abuse at low volumes but at high volumes the protection circuit will turn off the device.

One audio channel is out. Speakers are operating.

It would be better to take your receiver to an electronic repair store. By your description the transistor part of one channel may be out. I don't believe in a connection problem at the jack. It is very dangerous to connect both speakers at one single jack, as this may change the total impedance. Good Luck.

I want to connect 2 speakers(left and right) to lcd.how can i?

Hi,
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Connect the two RCA plugs on the Y adapter to the right and left Audio Out jacks on the back of the LCD TV.
Step 2: Insert the mini-plug on the cable attached to the right-channel PC speaker into the mini-plug jack on the Y adapter.
Step 3:Connect the mini-plug on the audio cable attached to the left-channel PC speaker to the mini-plug jack on the back of the right-channel speaker. This completes the PC speaker connections to each other and to the television. The TV sends an audio signal to the right PC speaker, which separates the signal and sends the left-channel stereo information to the other PC speaker.
Step 4:Connect the AC power plug to the back of the right-channel speaker and plug the other end into an electrical outlet.
Step 5:Switch on the speakers and the television to enjoy audio from both the TV's built-in speakers and the external pair of PC speakers.
