Jus got fron home shopping club .got top off but can not get screen or glade out to clean did not get any instructions
Take off the top part of the juicer that has the chute. You will see the blade and basket. The blade appears to be attached to the basket with three small screws but is actually screwed onto the basket by a large screw that protrudes out of the basket underneath the blade. So the trick is to unscrew the blade, turning it to the left by using maybe a small screwdriver that you will have to put into one of the two small holes that are on the blade surface and pushing the blade to the left. This should loosen the blade and then you can just unscrew the blade off the basket. Once you get that blade off, the rest of the juicer comes apart. The newer models come with a little tool with a couple of arms that go down into those holes and loosen the top. Good luck.
In the Jack LaLanne's power juicer,"Secrets of power juicing" booklet under the title of "Helpful hints," you will find the following instructions. Cleaning can be made easy by placing a platic bag inside the pulp collector container. When you are done juicing, the bag can be lifted out and disposed of easily leaving the pulp collector easier to clean. Let the Power Juicer run for a few minutes before turning off the allow any excess juice to be extrated from the pulp. Once turned off it is quite normal for the juicer to spin for a minute or so due to the very fine precision balancing of this appliance. Wait until it is done spinning before disassembling. However, I didn't find any instructions on how to disassemble the unit spinning parts for cleaning nor did I find a breakdown of the unit's parts list in the shipping box. Good luck
The part that you are trying to get off, the shredder and strainer (on the breville je90j anyway) is clipped on and held with three ballbarings and will pull off with a bit of pulling and wriggling. I put some sewing machine oil on the ballbarings after I worked out how to get it off and it was easy after that.

This really sucks. You can't find a website that will even let you download an owner's manual and one didn't come with my machine, which I purchased at Costco. If you go to their "official" site, the stupid webmaster must not be a master....you can't manipulate the browser whatsoever to get to what to need to see. I'm throwing mine in the garbage.
we had the same problem. We bought it from costo and it didnt come with directions so we went back to costo and get directions.
i have a power jucier but i cannot take the part off when i want to clean it because i cannot find the manual it came with.
