Why is my xbox 360 power cord blinking orange

When your power adapter blinks orange, it means that it is only getting around half of the power it should be getting.

Make sure all of your plugs are plugged in correctly.
If it still blinks orange, I recommend contacting Microsoft, since it could be a loose wire/cord or a hardware malfunction.

I had this problem. Make sure the pins in the USB ports (2 on the front and 1 on the back of the console) aren't bent and there's nothing obstructing them. I unbent some of the metal inside these ports, and voila! I have a working xbox.

If it's still doing the same it will be definitely a fault with the Xbox 360 power supply.
