I have a 1992 E300 gas mercedes 4 door sedan. Always started and ran great until recently. Just had motor mounts and fan belt mechanism replaced. Car starts ok initially but after 5 minutes if i stop the car, it won't restart. Turns but just won't catch. I just replaced the fuel pump relay but that didn't help. Have a buyer but he will be hesitant unless I remedy or at least know what problem is. Thanks for any help/advice.

Check spark plugs and eventually replace air filter.
Is it an injection or carburetor model?
If it injections it is probably a dirty injector or a computer problem.
If it is carb you need just to regulate carburetor.

Finding the fan blower motor location on a 92 mercedes 400es fann motor quit working and I am trying to locate it on car so I can check it and the fan relay

Try the fuse on the driver side strut mount first. Then the regulator underneath it and lube the bearings and turn by hand while your in there. The motor is below the wiper motor assembly.

I have a 1992 Mercedes 300E and the fan is wobbling and hitting metal! I've stopped driving it and want to know what I need to fix it myself? I was having a hard time starting it but once started and...

Yes replace the hoses to original. The viscous fan is and easy DIY job just takes some time. Try replacing the OVP and ignition coil to help with the hard starts and maybe the fuel pressure regulator and head over to benzworld.org and peachparts.com for more help.

Last week engine overheated due to faulty wiring on fan. Now car sometimes vibrates on excelleration. Are these two things connected and what can be the cause. Car is Merc 240E 1992 model automatic.

vibration could be motor mounts or a broken belt in a tire or imbalanced tires i would suggest especially with a MERCEDES have it serviced promptly

Fuel problem(?) on an 89' Mercedez E300- 6 cylinders in line

is it carbs or injection ,this is about the change over time if its carb then put a couple of bottles of carb cleaner in the tank ,if you cant get it then use injector cleaner. If it is twin carbs that is if its injection then you have faulty sensor somewhere and the quickest way is to drop it off at merc garage for a dealer only mechanic ??cheaper in the long run than changing everything in sight

1995 e300 d auto transmision

This is not that unusual for Mercedes cars of these years.
Try having the transmission oil filter replaced, and fresh fluid put in.
This may help some, but this may be something which comes with wear and tear.
Unless of course you are willing to spend a lot of money to replace the transmission.
