you will need to enetr system programming (only 1 phone on your system will allow this so try it all until 1 works)
Press PROG / PROGRAM /PAUSE
** 1234
enter 000 (try 001 002 003 etc until you see name )
enter you jack no (201 = 01 202 = 02 etc)
enter your name
press STORE

dial 100 and select 5 for mailbox management

press STAR button

On mine I press the asterix to toggle display options

The display on the phone ... to change back and forth between the date and time, and the extension information, press the "star" (or asterisk) key while the phone is on-hook, this will toggle the display back and forth.
