Password problem i want to install my di-624 wireless router but i have forgot the password

1. You will have to use the CD that came with the router and go through the "setup Wizard" and establish a new password.
2. contact your ISP ( internet service provider0 and get the information to input into the router to connect properly to the internet.
3. Go to the D-link page and an instruction set for your model router is there to guide you through the setup.

log on to the router, check status for more options

At the back of the modem is a reset button. hold that down for 3 seconds.

The Ip will now be 192.168.0.1 and username: admin
No password.

There is no way to obtain your username and password. Not an easy way anyways.

Your best bet is to reset the router, and reconfigure it. Good Luck.

If you've forgotten the username and password, there is really no viable solution other than resetting the router. All the software can be found on linksys' website, along with manuals for reconfiguring your router. Breakout your trusty paperclip and press the reset button on the back of the router. Reconfiguring should only take a few minutes. The default username will be "admin" and the default password is "password" (both without the quotes.)

Disconnect your modem and other devices from your wireless router and connect your laptop/PC to your wireless router through ethernet port ( keep your ip settings to automatic in network settings of your Laptop/PC) then type the ip number 192.168.0.1 in your web browser's address bar.

Here you are you will get the login page of your router.Default login id is "admin" and password is "password" if this password is wrong then try with the password "admin".

After logging into the page you will find the wireless security tab.in that you can find your security key.

try admin/di-624. where "di" may be capped.

Access the configuration page of your router by default its 192.168.0.1, Login to the Dlink page by default the Username is Admin and Password is Blank and then reconfigure your router for Internet connection.

Yes, you can connect the DI-624 to your exitsing EBR-2310, you just need to connect the a cable from port 4 of the EBR-2310 to the internet/wan port of the DI-624, then after that you can already use now the wireless to your laptop and also the wired router to your desktops.
But I may suggest you to just replace the EBR-2310 with the DI-624 so you will only be using 1 router that can cater your laptop and also your desktop, Just connect the cable from your modem that is conencted now to your EBR-2310 to the internet/wan port of the DI-624 then run the setup CD that should be it.
