Cant find the photos i have taken - Nikon D40 Digital Camera with G-II 18-55mm Lens

On the camera screen there are 3 dots tap them then tap the right most icon to switch to the rear camera and front camera

If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

It might be ccd problem .. consult camera doctor.

it's the button that has a trash can icon. just to the left of the thumbwheel that's under the shutter button

Try taking out memory chip, don't touch the gold fingers, and insert it into your computer. Should read it as if it were a thumb drive, then open, drag and drop into a file.
Also chip might need to be re formatted, last resort though.
Had a case where the card just needed to be taken out of camera and put back in to clean contacts.

The photos taken by EOS cameras don't have the date & time overlay. To print your photos with date/time stamp, use Zoombrowser EX software that came with your camera. When you select photos for print, you'll get the option of printing the date/time (and even the choice of font's colour) on the photos.

My husband spent 1/2 hour interpreting the manual and found I had taken the aperture setting off automatic!
