I have the hp mini 1000 and recently my mouse has froze in the middle of the screen, i cleaned the touchpad, restarted several times, and took out the battery and its still stalled

You can adjust the position of the info on the screen? Does it use a mouse? Touchpad? Touch? Adjust the size of the info? Say from 100% to 75%?Right click the page, any adjustments? Minimize?

Hello

If the touchpad does not responds then make sure that the touchpad lock switch (just above the touchpad) is not turned off.

If this doesn't work,Restart the computer and repeatedly tap the F8 key (you need to press F8 before windows starts to load) You should see a menu "Select Last Known Good Configuration" and press Enter.This should solve the problem if not,try to download the synaptics drivers for any of the Mini 1000 series laptop edition as you have a Mini 110. It does works.

Mouse won't move on hp mini computer HP 2133
If anyone has recently purchased an HP Mini Netbook they might notice one thing not working after a fresh install of Windows 7. The touchpad scrolling doesn't seem to work after fresh install of Windows 7 x32. Read below to find out what you need to get it working. The nice thing is, Windows Updates should pick up everything else automatically.

  • First thing you will need to do is download the Synaptics Touchpad Driver from their website. I have included the link to the download page below

    http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers

  • If this is a netbook, most likely you are running 32-bit of Windows 7 and so you will need to click on "Windows Vista 32-bit Edition v10.1.8" while on Synaptics' website.

  • Once you download it, simply double click on it to run it and then you will have to restart your computer.

  • No configuration is necessary. Once you have restarted, you will once again have your touchpad scrolling back.

    If the touchpad is not working at all, it is likely not sensing your finger. To correct this issue, simply enable the touchpad by pressing the button that has an amber light.

    Pointer Mouse froze in the middle of the screen Please help i cant get it to move so i cant use the Computer Thank you Very Much . Bill
    if there is a light above the touchpad it should be blue if it is orange it is turned off push the button by the light it will go blue and the mouse will work.

    Touchpad won't work: due to virus?
    go to the HP website and redown load the driver for the mini1000 notebook touch pad. chances are the driver is just corrupt.
    safe mode uses just generic drivers.
