I updated to windows vista, but the installation software for my HP office jet 5610v all in one is not compatible with vista. How can I install my all in one printer?
Try this link. It is the full intall file for the all in one being run on a Vista Machine. It worked fine for my installation.
Muck around on the site for a bit, and you can also find the same install file for Windows XP.

I am having a similar problem. My Scanner will not work now that I am using Windows Vista. Downloading drivers does not help and I cannot find anything online to fix this problem.

I purchased an HP OfficeJet 5610v All-in-One printer a year ago. I have Windows Vista. The start up disc says it is compatible with Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP. I used this printer with no problems for a while on my Windows Vista now it says the active directory domain service is currently unavailable and will not print at all. When it would print sporadically for a while it would say HP set up is required and I would constantly have to do the set up all over again. Please can anyone help me. I went to HP website and tried to install driver updates but they would not install. Please can someone help me. I don't want to have to purchase a new printer.
