How many times does the light flash each time? Also whats the full model number of your set?

replace the CP150, CP120 and CP114 capacitors. You can get the repair kit by the same name from www.tvrepairworld.com which contains the caps and the CD with instructions.

this sounds like the typical bad fly-back transformer that is also known as the high voltage transformer, n=-Not really a repair for a novice so unless you know all of the safety notices with this set please do not attempt this repair as why save 100 bucks for something that could seriously kill you!!!!!

Trying installing a new power supply. This is the main problem with tv's with the issue. But if you just bought it I would try to get my money back from where I bought it from. Installing a power supply for a tv is not that hard at all.

The cicuit board behind the power on and off button needs to be replaced.. good luck everyone

sounds like the flyback is whats causing the problem, as the light flashes 3 times when you press power. You can get a replacemnet flback at the following link with free tech support to explain how to install it. You ned flyback 259296. here is the link.

Does the set make any sounds. DOes the front green led light or flash when you try to turn it on.. if not then it could be as simple as a fuse, if it does flash then it can be many problems
