The button is marked "do not disturb" and is located near the lower-right-hand corner of the 21028 base unit.

SOURCE: How do I put my phone on DND?

You get a chance for that to work next time :-)

Panasonic features are in the system, not the phone. If you have a TA series, from the phone, pick up the handset and press the FWD/DND button and dial 4#. (you may also dial 71 in place of pressing the button).

Cancel is 0# in place of 4#, but you also have CF to voice mail issues, where 1+VM EXT is all calls and 2 is BUSY/NA.

If you have a TD or TDA or TAW system, you get lucky, because the FWD/DND button works in 3 modes. For DND it's 7101 or *7101. The button will light with a solid red light and when you press it, it either flashes or goes off. The system gives you both FWD and DND settings.

Reset Do not disturb

Question is kind of Vague, so I'm assuming you are trying to turn off the Do Not Disturb (DND).
In the standby mode, press the do not disturb button on the base. The DND indicator will light and DO NOT DISTURB shows in handset display. To cancel, press the do not disturb button again.
Hope that helps.

How do I turn on the FWD/DND button?

It depends on what phone system the 7130 is connected to. Most FWD sequences start in the 7xx's. In a TA series, you have 711 ext # to forward it to some extension and 714# for DND. On a TD it's 710x with 2 being all calls and 7101 being DND. . If you have your 7130 connected to anything lower (like a flat pack 308,616 or 1232) just look at the button because I don't think it will do anything else :-)

In the above examples, ending in 0 usually cancels, like 7100 cancels CF and DND on a TD and 710# on a TA. The OM or user's guides to your particular KSU will have the details under Call Forward and Do Not Disturb.

How do i turn off the DND on my KT-X7331 desk phone

Typically this is controlled by the status of the FWD/DND button and indicated by the button light.
button light off: Forward and Do Not Disturb off
button light blinking red: Forward on
button light solid on: Do Not Disturb on

The functionality of this button can be customized by the phone system installer. If the method outlined above does not work the status and activation of this feature can be accessed through the staion programminng. To use station programming press <program> then scroll through the features using the LCD screen navigation keys or enter the specific program number. To program FWD/DND the program number is 50.

Want to turn the DND off

Typically DND is turned on and off by pressing the FWD/DND button. There are three status conditions for this button indicated by the button light.
button light off: both features off(Forwarding and Do Not Disturb)
button light blinking red: Forwarding on
button light solid red: Do Not Disturb on

The functionality of this button can be customized by the phone system installer to work differently than outlined above. Station features can also be accessed through station programming using the LCD screen by pressing the button then either scrolling through the features using the LCD screen navigation keys or entering the specific program number as in 50 for FWD/DND programming.

My uniden powermax 5.8 ghz set itself to Do Not Disturb.

The do not disturb feature (DND) allows you to mute the ringer, the base, and any registered handsets at the same time. The phone must be in standby mode. Press and hold do not disturb on the base. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the DND LED illuminates. To cancel the DND feature, press do not disturb again. You can also mute the ringer tone while the phone is ringing by pressing do not disturb on the base.
Activating the DND while the answering system is off will turn the answering system on automatically. The answering system setting will reset to the original setting when you cancel the DND.
If you press answer on/off when the DND and the answering system is on, both of the DND and the answering system will turn off.
To mute the ringer tone temporarily for each handset or the base, when the phone is ringing, press the MUTE soft key on the handset or the base. The ringer tone will return to the previous setting starting with the next incoming call.
