HT-Z310 IS DOING THE FAN CHECK THING AND SHUTTING DOWN. THE SYSTEM IS 2 YEARS OLD AND IT JUST STARTED. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION? REPAIR - REPLACE?

connect 1. cable/satellite box to TV with HDMI. 2. cable/sat box to sound system using optical cable. 3.change box sound setting to optical/dolby.

Protection is very likely caused by an over heat condition, even with the fan working if the receiver is in a very enclosed place that warms up and is not ventilated it will cause the problem. The solution is to provide more ventilation so that the receiver can cool itself properly.

I had the same problem and of course my system is out of warranty. If you open the system up most likely you will see portions of a board near the fan burned up.

you must select on remote press "audio" an when appers music on dvd you will have surround sound
