Saeco Incanto Rapid Steam - the shot of espresso is too hot and the coffee tastes burnt. Is there a way for me a user (not a technician) to adjust the temp? Is it a variable screw inside the machine? If so where is it located? Thanks Julian

Dear Jon,
Hi this shrikant from mumbai. This problem is happen due to dust stuck in tea/hot water valve ( for steam which you rotate).
If you have screw driver set then open the machine by using + screw drive. step below,
1.I here attach picture of valve.
2.you have to open it and clean it ( sea in pic 44,46,47,54).
3.after water leaking stop you have replace one o-ring 54 no. in picture.
4.After you machine work fine.

Either hte grind is not set correctly, the burrs are dull, espresso is being brewed in a cold cup, or the coffee is a little stale and the brew unit needs to be degreased.
The leak is most likely from the steam valve, you will have to either buy and replace the o-rings and the pistons in the valve or just buy a new valve assembly and replace it. Easiest solution get the new valve assembly.
Do you get coffee? If it is just no water/steam, could be a blockge in the steam wand, or blockage in water lines. First test easy one - the steam wand. If the steam wand is o.k- then check for blockages in water lines/components ( pump, boiler, steam boiler). If you do not feel confortable with testing all the untis where water flows, contact
