Plug in power cord, remove key, hold down speed+ and stop buttons, replace key, release buttons, press stop once, press and hold speed + until max. treadmill will run to top speed (s9.80 should read out 11.8 to 12.5.) It took a couple of times to get this to work for mine, but now it is OK. If unit does not run after several attempts then the console is probably bad and will need to be replaced ($410). Get another treadmill ! If it does run the console may still beep - problem is with IFIT card. You can get rid of the beeps by opening the console and unplugging the IFIT cable from the computer card if you want.

Plug in unit so power is on, take key off, hold down speed + and stop keys on console, replace key, release buttons, press stop once, press and hold speed up until it reaches max, unit should run and speed up to max, console should read out max speed (s9.80 should read 11.8 - 12.5). It took me a couple of times to get this calibration to work. If unit does not run after several attempts then console is probably bad and will need to be replaced ($410) - get another treadmill ! If unit does run it may still beep - problem is with the IFit card, you can get rid of the beeps by opening console (unplug first) and removing the cable that connects the IFit card to the mother board. Of course IFit won't work but it won't be beeping ! Good luck

Why does my Reebok Jet Treadmill slow down

Hi,

if the machine slows down when you get on it, there might be a motor issue or problem with a bad circuit within the treadmill.

Thank you.

My treadmill doesn't run. The console lights up but the belt doesn't move. What could be the cause & how to fix it?

You likely have a bad motor control board. Call CircuitBoardRepair.net - they can help troubleshoot and repair your controller as needed.

Loud squeaking on my Reebok 9500 ES (three years old) from under the hood when the foot hits the treadmills - at various speeds and inclines.

HI,

Its time to lubricate your treadmill.
You must obtain the proper lubricant for your treadmill. There are several different types. Contact your manufacturer for what type is needed. Using the manufacturer provided allen wrench, loosen the walking belt approximately 10 full turns on each side of the rear roller. Apply approximately 1/2 ounce of lubricant directly in the middle of the walk area underneath the walking belt upon the deck. Retighten the rear roller 10 turns on each side. Run the treadmill at 6.0 mph for 2-3 minutes to spread the lubricant evenly. Wipe excess lube from the sides of the belt. Walk on treadmill to check for proper tension on belt.
for make it easy for you I have added a video. ok

My Reebok S 9.80 will turn on but when I push any button on the console it just beeps and does not respond. What does that mean?

yes - had to recalibrate it. Plug it in, remove the key, hold down speed + and the stop button on the console, while holding them down replace the key. release the buttons, then press stop once. then press and hold speed + until speed reaches max. unit should run and speed up to max. console should display max speed (s9.80 should read 11.8 to 12.5). It took me a couple of tries to get running but now it is OK. If after several tries the unit does not run then the console will probably need to be replaced ($410) - so get a new treadmill ! If unit does run then it may still beep. Problem is with the IFit card. You can get rid of the beeping by opening the console (unplug the treadmill first) and removing the cable that connects the IFit card to the mother board. Of course the IFit will not work but it will not be beeping at you. good luck

So I had the same problem it was just stuck on the main screen. It just went beep beep beep. After much tampering. I Opened the console and unplugged the cable that runs from the I fit to the computer board and now everything else works great.

I have a Reebok Fusion Treadmill, an Oil Can Icon has appeared

I have the same problem. I phoned Reebok Tech Support 01908 512244. It is a timed icon to advise the deck should be lubricated. If you have done so / do this regularly you can ignore it. To remove the icon follow the instructions they emailed me. Hope this works Cheers John Please follow procedure below:
1. Keep power on and remove the safety key
2. Press and hold incline down and speed down, at the same time insert the safety key
3. You can release the “Down” buttons. (you will now hear a beep)
4. Press Speed up
6. Press stop. You will now hear a beep and the icon will disappear
