Your anti-theft system was enabled. Take the car to a dealership and they can use a scan tool to unlock the radio for you.

Hi i lost my radio code for honda crv lx 2003 ,pls help me out.

Sorry no easy fix, 2 choices, 1 remove radio and take to car radio specialist, they can recode to a new one. Or contact your local Honda Main dealer, give them your chassis No etc, and if it's the original radio they should be able to scource the code from the manufacture, Cheers

Hi Again:
You must go to the dealership, with your VIN number. No one in the Fixya community can help you, as this is an antitheft system that keeps crooks from reselling/reusing radios. If you go to a local Acura dealership, their service department can help you out.

Code radio honda crv lx 2003

Inside the glove compartment, on the back side of the glove compartment door you should find a small sticker with two sets of numbers. The number set with 5 digits is you radio reset code. Turn on the radio and when the message "CODE" comes up, use the station preset buttons to input the code. If the code was input correctly, the radio should come on immediately. God Bless and ggod luck.

Just changed the battery for the first time in 2004 crv LX model. Everything fine, but radio/cd etc just has the word COde across the display and nothing will work...??? what is the code and/or how do I...

Whenever you disconnect a car battery, the radio needs to have the Security code installed. It is for theft protection. It is the code you programed into it when you bought the car. If you bought the car new, the code is usually a series of zero's, usually 3 or 4. If you bought the car used, you may have to contact the previous owner, & ask what they used as a radio code, or if they recoded it. If that is not possible, you'll have to take it to a dealer, to have the radio reprogrammed. If you have an owners manual, it will be described in there also, on how to do it all.

Thanks everyone. Found my crv 2003 radio code in

That is some great news.
We are glad you found the card.
Put the card in a safe place.
Open the trunk lid and write it on the inside of the lid. Never lose it again.

=========================================

There is only 2 options.
1. Your radio code is in your paperwork for your car (Its on a hard plastic card) Find it.
2. Take your registration to Vin and Ser Number for your radio to your local dealer.
These codes are a guarded secret and no one code fits all.
Hope this tip helps guide you in the correct direction to solve this problem.

I have a 2004 Honda Accord LX. The radio keeps going off and on

My 2003 Accord LX does the same thing. It started about 6mo ago and it becomes more and more often. I just went outside to kick the off from inside the wheel wells and the stereo came on.

Radio won't turn off.

The radio should still shut off after 20 minutes even if the door is not opened. If it stays on longer than this there is still a problem..

RADIO CODE

First a warning- STAY AWAY from the website service called "radio-codes dot com." They have no security measures in place to know if the unit is stolen or not. So don't pay them and encourage such practices. besides, they're just going to do what you can do yourself for free, and in a more ethical manner for all.
Okay, that said, your code may in fact be found somewhere on the car. It will be five digits: Try for a small sticker in the glovebox or on the outer side of the glovebox. Maybe even try looking for it under the ashtray. Up under the trunk space somewhere. If it can't be found, the 8-digit radio serial number may be, and you will need that to get the code. However, you can get the serial number electronically on almost all models except '03-'07 Accords w/navigation in six, or six and 1/2 steps...
STEP ONE: get a pen and paper handy, or a friend with a photographic memory.
STEP TWO: turn on ignition
STEP THREE: turn on audio unit and check if you see "COdE" in display-- if not, pull the backup fuse or battery cables again for 1 minute or longer and until you do).
STEP FOUR: turn off audio unit.
STEP FIVE: press and hold the preset buttons "1" and "6" simulatneously, then turn on the audio unit. The display will toggle back and forth between two screens-- the first showing the letter U followed by four numbers (WRITE THESE DOWN!) and the second display showing a letter L followed by four numbers (yep, you guessed it WRITE THESE DOWN NEXT!)
Forget about the U and the L. The eight numbers -big or small in size- make up your serial number (NOT YOUR UNLOCK CODE).
STEP SIX: If the car is registered with Honda USA, you can simply go to the website
https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ to get the radio unlock code for free. (they will tell you the info that you will need to prove you're not the theif who simply stole your radio (ie: the serial number you just retrieved, the VIN, and probably your name and the address the car would be registered with them under).
STEP SIX AND A HALF: If you don't have luck there, proof of ownership, the VIN, and the unit's serial number should be all you need to get it from a dealer. They might charge 25 bucks, or they might not if you seem like or act like a regular.
Hope this helps. My first solution. But it worked 100% for myself.
