I know it sounds a bit weird, but if you add a new song/ app/ video, etc. to your iPod, it usually fixes the problem. It happens to me and this almost always remedies it. Once the "syncing" screen has gone away ( ie don't cancel it) tap music, and then the screen should say "updating library". When this goes away, it'll be fixed!

I FOUND OUT HOW TO DO IT...it might not work for you but its worth a try1.Go to the toolbar under where it syncs that says : Summary, Apps, Music, Movies etc...2. Click on Apps, Movies, Music, Tv, Photos and check the box where it says sync whatever you selected3. Now sync and now the songs and apps are enabled to sync

Make sure you are plugged directly into your computer's USB port. Any other port will not work

Hi, I just received the newest version of ipod touch as a replacement for my old nano. I already have a full itunes library and wish to sync my new ipod touch so I can still have all my purchased songs....

Once itunes has finished syncing go to your ipod under devies and then click on the music tab and then click on sync music and choose the options you require from entire music library to playlists (my prefered option as you can prior to syncing set up an ipod playlist and add what music you want) or Artist, Genres or Albums. Once you have selected the options you require click on Apply at the bottom right corner. Hope this helps.

How tro fix a Error 13019 during syncing your ipod touch with itunes

Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.

Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option.

Click Apply and then click Sync.

After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option.

Click Apply and then click Sync.

If the Error 13019 occurs while syncing content other than music (applications, podcasts, and so on), then perform the same steps above but uncheck the content that stops syncing with Error 13019.

If the steps above do not resolve the issue, attempt to sync an empty iTunes music library to the device while logged in as a new admin user

Ipod touch wound sync to my computer. i had a nano first. when i tryed to sync my ipod touch i did not reg. to my computer, i just tryed to copy my music to the new ipod. my daughter shares our music from...

Open iTunes (without iPod connected). Create a new playlist and copy songs you want on your iPod into that list. Next connect your iPod. Once iTunes recognizes your iPod then go to the music tab and click on 'sync playlist only' and chose the new playlist that you created. Click sync. Only the songs in your new playlist should be copied to your iPod.

My ipod touch will not sync my music from itunes

Hey! There are some other iPod Transfer tools which can transfer music between iPod and PC, iPod and iTunes freely. I am now using this Wondershare iPod Transfer which is very easy-to-use. Now I can transfer music between iPod and PC, iPod and iTunes easily. You can have a free try of it.
Hope that will be of help to you.

I have an ipod touch. I can't sync music from iTunes to my Ipod Touch for some reason. I cant figure out why!!! can you help me? There is nothing on my 8.0 version of itunes.

To automatically sync, you have to choose the setting "automatically sync." If you want to sync but not automically, you click the "sync" button after putting a check in the box in front of the content you want to sync. Or, you can manage content manually. Syncing becomes a huge waste of time anyway, once the bulk of content is on the device. With the device recognized by iTunes, on the summary page choose "manually manage music and videos." Drag and drop to add or right click and choose Delete to remove.

Hi. i have an ipod mini which is synced to my windows xp system but i'd like to download the music to my mac laptop - OS10. can someone please let me know how to do this ? thanks

Hi,

Syncing the music to the mac OS10 is much easy please follow the steps below:

Syncing music and podcasts automatically Connect iPod to your computer and open iTunes.
Select iPod in the Devices section on the left side of the iTunes window

e12f969.jpg

In the main iTunes browser window, select the Music tab.
Select the option to Sync Music.

9ef84ad.png

You have the option to sync all songs and playlists or selected playlists. Your iPod will need to have enough free space to sync the content that you have selected from your library. Tip: You can use the capacity bar at the bottom of the iPod settings window to determine how much free space is available. The size of a playlist can be determined by selecting it and looking at the bottom of the iTunes window.

f35bb9f.jpg
Podcasts can also be automatically synced to iPod. Select the Podcasts tab and choose to sync all podcasts or selected ones. You can also determine which episodes are synced based on if they are recent, new, or unplayed

ad82500.png

Click Apply and iTunes will begin syncing the audio content you've selected to your iPod. The iTunes LCD will display the sync progress and notify you when the iPod sync is complete

eea7a8d.jpg
  1. To disconnect your iPod, select it under Devices and click the eject icon next to it.
Syncing music manually If you prefer not to automatically sync music content to your iPod, you can set up manual syncing.

Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes.
Select iPod in the Devices section on the left side of the iTunes window

75b22af.jpg
In the main iTunes browser window, select the Summary tab.
Select the option to "Manually manage music and videos" or "Manually manage music." This will deselect the automatic sync settings for the Music, Movies, and TV Shows tabs. Automatic syncing for Podcasts, Photos, Contacts, and Games can be individually disabled by selecting those options in each of those tabs. Note: When manually managing iPod, disk use is enabled and iPod must always be manually ejected in iTunes before disconnecting it from your computer
Click Apply.

To manually add music, audiobooks, movies or TV shows to your iPod, choose one of these categories under Library on the top-left of the iTunes window.

Select and drag items you want (to choose multiple items, Command-click items on a Mac or Control-click items in Windows), then drag them onto your iPod icon under Devices.

To add a playlist, select it from the left side of the iTunes window and drag it onto your iPod in the same way.

Syncing my itouch with itunes

Itunes can sync infinite ipods and should have no trouble, so there isnt a problem with having two ipods. Try this: turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into itunes while still holding the home button until a picture of the itunes symbol appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore mode". this will get rid of any previous users' settings, and hopefully fix anything preventing itunes from syncing with your ipod.
