Have a kohler forte kitchen faucet that the sprayer is no longer working. It appears to be the diverter valve but I have no idea how to get to it. Where is it located and how do I replace [email protected]

It is most likily not the valve.
Check to make sure the pull out hose is not kinked and if that is not the problem take the head of and clean it. The link below should help you with this.

Hi! Yes it sounds like the spray diverter needs replacing. Kohler .com will have this part online or you could try a plumbing supply shop.

Kohler sprayer with forte single handle, will not spray well. When sprayer is on the flow to faucet cuts off but there is only a small amount of water coming out the sprayer.

Check to be sure the hose isn't kinked somewhere below the faucet. If there aren't any kinks there is likely debris stuck behind the nozle screen, remove it and clean it- or your handle mechanism is broken. Replacement handles and hoses are fairly inexpensive if you need one they're easy to find at most big hardware stores or on Amazon

Kohler Fairfax kitchen faucet has low flow pressure. Any suggestions? It's the faucet, not the water getting to the faucet that has the low pressure.

First thing to check is if it has a strainer on the spout that has debris. The second thing is if you have a sprayer attachment the diverter valve is a chronic problem with kitchen faucets.

Water leaking from bottom part of the faucet ...not sure if the model is a 10433 Fort Single control pullout

I had a similar problem with my relatively new Forte model. I disassembled the handle, removed the retaining ring and the valve assembly. I thought at first it was the valve assembly but wasn't convinced. I continued to remove the entire faucet hub by gripping and pulling straight up. When I did, the diverter valve popped out of the back to the counter behind the sink. I cleaned all the parts up, made sure all the rings were in place, presse the diverter securely into place back in its hole, and reassembled the rest of the parts. That seemed to do the trick. I'm guessing that the diverter lost its seal and was displaced inside the hub. Hope that helps someone else.

Side sprayer won't spray

THe diverter inside of the faucet is malfuncting. Remove and replace the diverter valve. It is located right under the spout assemble.
