Bummer about the CD and understand it may not be possible or convenient to return the router. You should be able to download the specific drivers for this router from the Belkin website http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/product/list/q/routers/ Since you listed the model trade name and not the specific model number you will need to supply that for further help. If you bought this used the router maybe due a firmware upgrade so take a look at that while you are on the Belkin web site. If an upgrade to the firmware is available I would try to get the router working and setup before I would update the firmware. There is a column at the above link also that address connecting to the internet and configuring the router as an access point. Hope this helped
. You do not have to use the cd. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response Thanks, Joe
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.
