Logitech M505 left clicks by itself. Changed batteries still persists. I bought it yesterday and no problems. Problems started when I used my 2.4 Ghz phone near it. Put the phone back and it still has problems even with the mouse 8 inches from the receiver. Any thoughts? BTW, I have had continuous problems with every mouse I have used on this computer. Always assumed it was the phone. Now not sure.

I seriously doubt the computer would left click by itself. I have worked on computers since the 70's and have not seen it. There could be two or more reasons for the left clicking. First, and mostly, I would suspect the mouse. I would get a wired mouse and see if it stops. If not, then I would check the keyboard. Some keyboards have mouse controls, and a key could be "sticky". By the way, if you have the original paperwork for the phone, I bet it would say "may cause interference with other electronic devices".

SOURCE: Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

SOURCE: Erratic Logitech cordless optical mouse

Hi,
ive had the mx700 for two years and im very comfortable with it.
I think you problem lies not with the mouse or the driver, but rather the mousepad.
Since the mx700 is not a lasermouse, but "only" optical, it still needs a decent pad to work flawlessly.
Ive had problems with these kind of mice using blank paper, magazines or tablesurfaces.
Try to get a real mousepad from somewhere (should be really cheap), that should do the trick =)

I upgradet to a razer diamondback later which is a laser mouse (1600dpi, while optical mice (with the red light) have 800dpi). Some ppl say that this is too much, and not needed (you can get even higher specs =) but i felt a world of difference, it just works everywhere! (except for mirrors and glas =)

SOURCE: problem with LOGITECH S 510 cordless keyboard and mouse..

Hello,

I have this same keyboard/mouse set and love/hate it when the batteries die. After you change the batteies, power on your pc, press & hold the connect button on the bottem of the keyboard first and then the connect button on the transmitter. Release them and wait for a few seconds. Repeat the same steps for the mouse.

When I have connection issue with this keyboard after new batteries, I have found most of the time the problem is the connection to the pc and/or batteries in wrong. Good Luck

Can't right or left click on inspirion 1501, touchpad is fine.

It would appear that the left/right touch pad buttons have failed. You will have 3 options at this point in time.
1) Use an external wireless mouse such as a Logitech Wireless Mouse M505 for roughly $39.99
2) Use alternative features on the laptop. Left click is typically simulated by tapping or double tapping the touch pad itself and right click can be simulated, in most cases, by single tapping the icon and pressing the pop-up menu button, typically located between the right alt and ctrl buttons.
3) Search for a replacement component online and replace the component. Touch pad replacement will require you to remove all casing screws from the laptop and then remove the case. You will then expose the screws and cabling for the touch pad. I can not give more detailed instructions as this varies per laptop model.

It sounds like you got a bad mouse.
Logitech is not that bad they know about the Mouse. They've been dealing with mouses for many years and before Windows.
You may want to get a different model.

TH-M505 DVD Home Theater will not stay on. Has to be clicked many times before it will stay on. The batteries have been changed in the remote, this did not help.

The unit is shutting down after power is applied because it is detecting a short circuit to prevent further damage from occurring. It could be also be a bad capacitor that cannot fully charge to start-up the system. Either way, you need to get it fixed. Do not force "turn-on" because you will create additional problems for the repair technician and/or the repair will be more costly.

I have a new Logitech K340 keyboard, which I have used for a month. Yesterday the on/off indicator light started blinking green and red and stopped working. I have replaced the batteries, have tried...

First: Recheck battery placement - positive and negative ends of batteries must be correctly positioned. Your keyboard batteries have a 3-year life, so they should not have any problem after using your keyboard for only a month.
Second: Most Logitech (and other brands) have a one-year warranty. Since you're already having problems with your keyboard I would suggest returning it to place of purchase for replacement.
Third: Refer to Logitech's problem solving page: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/434/6007?tabs=1,3,2,4,5§ion=overview&hub=1
Good luck!
