RE: All-in-One PIXMA printer Canon MP560 I am getting a very strong magenta cast in all my prints. The cartridges are all full and in the correct order. I am attempting to get the best quality prints as cheaper proofing (I am a professional photographer and use a Canon I990 printer for my main printing. The Pixma MP 560 was purchased also for its versatility. I also use a Canon 9900F Scanner for main scanning. Up to now the machine has behaved reasonably well but now . . . ? I need to be able to set it up to match my iMac screen image as closely as possible. Hope you can help as this is urgent. How do I set the printer back to original default if that will help? Thanks, Peter
You need to do a couple of printhead cleaning cycles.
Look at your nozzle check pattern, this will tell whch of the colors or black nozzle is clogged.
The black lines are to test the black nozzles and should have no missing lines.
The color bars are to test the color nozzles and should not have any horizontal white streaks.
Since you already did a cleaning, wait 24 hours and then do a DEEP CLEANING cycle.
