This occurs when the phone is set up to load it's configuration file from a ftp or tftp server and it cannot find the file or server location. If the phone is supposed to do this, please check that the ftp or tftp service is running on the specified server. The server name or ip is specified in the setup of the phone, available when the phone is first booting up. The default username is 'Polycom' and password is '456'. If you DO NOT want your phone to get it's configuration from a network server, enter the setup area and remove the server name or IP address from the appropriate section.

Ya if i only could reload win7 and yes u will lose all info on hdd even the dummy password he put on to lock hdd amazing only thing it wont reload windows

Step 1:
Restart your computer during the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS then using the arrow keys scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

Note this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system

Note after you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to failsafe or optimised defaults after windows has loaded

your computer will automatically restart it might restart 2 times one to finish the installation
the next will be because the operating system is loaded and will boot from your cd

Step 2:
For Windows users who switch and upgrade from Windows Vista, one difference will be immediately noticeable when installing or upgrading to Windows 7, i.e. Install Windows 7 setup wizard no longer prompts or asks for user selection of which edition of the operating system to install. Instead, each Windows 7 DVD disc or Windows 7 ISO image will automatically install the preset specific edition which it's confined to.

Although Microsoft does not provide an universal "one disc rules them all" Windows 7 installation media, however the function is indeed supported. User just need to delete and remove the ei.cfg from any Windows 7 ISO disc image to convert the image into universal disc of any edition Windows 7 installer. For user who has the ISO image of Windows 7, and wish to make it an universal installer for any and all supported editions of Windows 7, as shown in illustration below, now has an easier way to modify the ISO. Instead of manually unpacking and extracting the content of ISO image (or copying files from DVD) to HDD, deleting the ei.cfg and then repacking or rebuilding installation files back into ISO to burn, user can now eliminate troublesome procedures by making use of "ei.cfg Removal Utility". clip_image001.jpg The ei.cfg Removal Utility is a simple tool that will disable the ei.cfg from any Windows 7 ISO disc image, thereby converting the image into a "universal disc" that will prompt the user to select a preferred edition during setup. ei.cfg Removal Utility works directly to patch the ISO image, by toggling the deletion bit in the UDF file table to instruct the operating system to ignore and remove ei.cfg, or treat it as if it does not exist. Best of all, ei.cfg Removal Utility can reverse the patching to restore the ISO disc image to its original state when the tool is been used to apply on a disc image that previously been patched by the utility. ei.cfg Removal Utility is a standalone portable app, and thus no installation required. In fact, the program does not have much user interface. After selecting the target Windows 7 ISO, the disc image will be patched right away. So make sure a copy of ISO backup is done. *- default user: Polycom / password: 456

Every time I boot my computer an error message box titled [ agremind ] pops up that states in it [ c:\program files\broderbund\ag scrapbooks\startup.cfg is bad or missing ] . startup.cfg does exist in that...

Go to your startup folder and remove the file. Many programs install something in the startup so they will be ready to use, but in reality it takes about as long anyhow.

Hi, i have a MPC Netframe 3610 server with windows 2000 server installed. now i want to install windows xp but i get the folllowing error: no disk found after boot from cd. why?

You will need to use the F2 option during the initial loading process to load RAID drivers for whatever RAID controller your hard drives are connected to. You caould probably get around it by installing an internal IDE hard drive and loading the OS to that too

Error on game update 80710723

Hi

This error is due to a problem where the connection to the server has timed out. This may be due to a problem with the Network server itself or congestion traffic on your ISP.

I would suggest that you try the update again at a later time when these issues may have resolved by themselves.

If the problem persists you need to check your connection settings are correctly set up.

For a wired connection see link

For a wireless connection see this link

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

Error loading 0004f220429c.cfg

This means the phone cannot find its <mac>.cfg file on the boot server, and does not have one loaded in its own flash memory.
You will need to configure a boot server to host the SIP software, BootROM, and all the config files (these are included in with the SIP software).
You can download these from Polycom's product support page:

Faulty DFL-700 image - missing FWCore.cfg

Possible problems:
1. IDE Flash device is damaged
2. IDE controller is damaged
2. Firmware is corrupt

Try and download the firmware, and install. You should then get a better idea if the IDE device or controller is bad if it won't install or see the device.
