Hello

Your SSID can be a number or a letter number combination, or just "default" or "wlan-ap" possibly.

To find out your SSID, with a computer near the wireless router look at the networks available, then unplug your wireless router, then refresh the list and note what dissapeared from the list, then plug it back in and then after a moment refresh the list again and see what appeared, did something that has dissapeared come back? repeat a few times to be sure.

the name shown on the list is your wireless routers SSID.

let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Ekse

Where do I look for SSID number

Put the name of Wireless network available in your infrastructure.
SSID is required to connect the wireless devices to your network.
It might prompt for password as well.

I have a next book and need an ssid number

After login from network setting you can find the SSID number...

The easiest way to find your SSID is to look on your wireless router. The default SSID -- the one it came configured with from the factory -- is always located on the bottom or rear of the router.

What is my SSID number?

The SSID is the name of your wireless network. You should already know that. If not, contact your ISP and they can remotely log into it and tell you.

I do not know what my ssid number is to connect my wii console to the internet to use netflicks

The ssid number is the name you gave your wireless router when you were setting it up. If you do not have a wireless router, then you will need one to connect it wirelessly to the internet. Check your router's manual and it will tell you how login to the router and get the ssid from the wireless settings

NEED SSID NUMBER FOR DYNEX Wireless Routers

SSID can be found within the configuration of your Dynex Wireless Router. You need to consult your manual as how to get to the configuration page and look for the Wireless section. Once there, you should find your SSID listed. There you should also be able to change your SSID to something that you will know.

I have a Arris TM722 modem and I need to know my SSID number and password? please help me!

An SSID is the name of your wireless network connection and doesn't have to be a number. As I don't believe that this modem supports wireless connectivity, it should not prompt you for an SSID or a password. If the modem is plugged into a wireless router however, and a wireless network has been set up, the SSID will be related to the wireless router.

Generally most devices can scan for the SSID when attempting to connect to a wireless connection. If there is an "automatic" setting or a "find networks" button, you can try that and choose your wireless connection from the list provided. For a password, you may need to ask whomever helped set up your wireless network.
