Start->run->type "cmd" without qutotes.
D:\
D:\dir /a (shall all hidden files and directories)
see whether autorun.inf is there or not. I hope it will be there.
D:\attrib -h -s -r autorun.inf

Hey gaurav, this problem happens only when there's a virus on the drive. Use Avast antivirus to delete all **** out.
you get it for free on avast.com and once you register on the site, they send you the serial to your mailbox.
Just for free doesn't mean that its weak, or something.
I've tried norton, mcafee, and the like....and all have failed in front of Avast!
And no, i'm not advertising here...All major tech houses recommend it (Digit, Chip magazines in india).
Yea there iz a virus on ur pc...................
just explore ur drive n take out its contents on another 1............then right click on it n 4mat it.........................dont do quick 4mat but the slow but compressed 1..............n ur problem iz solved without even loosing ur datas................itz simple............go ahead.!!!
best of luc................................
