Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics’ and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hi I have a LG 42' plasma, but it wont turn

Hi Paul, This seems to be a common issue in most of the plasma flat screens. You are almost accurate in guessing the reason of trouble. The issue with the TV is mainly with the power board itself which happens in most models. Even though if you try replacing board level components you will finally end up in replacing the power board for sure. I managed to find a contact who can help with spare parts of most of the plasma models...i am posting it here for your reference. plasma TV parts-- Steve Hu: [email protected] .
