I have MA446LL/A Ipod 30GB black model A1136 it doesnt want play video files even i convert it to MP4 at AmtooMp4 video convertor

All you can really do is make sure the iPod is fully charged before watching.  Video files require more system reosurces than music files, so it is very possible that it will run down in a couple of hours or less. There are no longer-lasting batteries that can be used with this particular mp3 player.

you should change the .m4v file into mp4 with ipod video converter. ipod only accepts video in .mp4 format.

iPod only support MP4, M4V formats, I think you may need software to convert videos. I prefer to use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite for conversion of either DVDs or videos on your computer. You can find it on:

How have they been encoded to MP4? If they havent been encoded in a format that is compatible to your type of iPod you will get problems. You could try opening iTunes right click on the MP4 and select "convert selection for iPod", iTunes should then convert it. If it tells you it is already converted I think your problems are with your iPod. Sorry. Also try converting the files to MP4 with something like Handbrake, I have found it good as you can select the output format yourself
