SOURCE: Snow Leopard 10.6 Anti Virus

I recommend to instal McAfee VirusScan for Mac. McAfee VirusScan for Mac includes detections for exploits, viruses, trojans, worms, and spyware that threatens Macs, PCs, and Unix systems. On access scanning provides realtime protection while drag and drop scanning facilitates a quick check of newly downloaded files. McAfee VirusScan for Mac retails for approximately $37 per license with discounts for bulk purchases

HOW I DELETE VIRUS HALP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1?

The best way to get rid of a virus is not to get them in the first place by running Internet Security Software. My favorite is Kaspersky Internet Security, I've never had a virus and I go on all sorts of websites.

Since you already have a virus, here are some things that you can do to get rid of it:
First, buy a professional anti-virus software program or download a free one. My favorite free anti-virus software program is AVG Antivirus.
http://www.avg.com/us-en/free-antivirus-download

If you cannot install a software program because the virus is so bad, you can try an online virus scanner. My favorite is Bit Defender's online scanner. It is free to use.
Free Online Virus Scan

Sometimes viruses turn out to be a result of something other than a virus like Malware, Spyware, or Adware. These nasty problems are not always caught by anti-virus programs, so you may need a combination of an anti-virus program and Malware Bytes (also free) to get rid of your problem.

Get Free Anti-Virus software from your Internet Service Provider

Don't buy Anti-Virus software because your Internet Service Provider (ISP) offers free Anti-Virus software included in your Internet Service Plan. The links below show you where to get that software. Just click on your ISP below and download McAfee or Norton Anti-Viurs your ISP provides with your Internet service. You will need your username and password to download the software. Depending on your ISP and your Internet plan you can download the Anti-virus for up to 10 different computers.

My system is hp compaq dc 7100 ultra slim its any usb ports r not wrking but working as a power supply not detect any hardwer from any usb ports plz tel me wht cn i do now? thanks

You have virus infections in your PC. Please install a Licensed Antivirus Software to clean the System.

Even if you running anti-virus software, it may be beneficial to scan your PC with another scanner to check for viruses. No anti-virus software is 100% perfect at catching everything. Here are a few good free online virus scanners that you can run to check your PC:

An excellent free utility for overall system maintenance is Advanced System Care Free ( http://download.cnet.com/advanced-systemcare-free/3000-2086_4-10407614 .html ). I use this utility on a regular basis.

You should always run anti-virus software. There are several very good, free, anti-virus products available. One good source to read editor and user reviews, and safely download anti-virus software, is http://download.cnet.com -- search for free antivirus software. In addition to the reviews, you can see how many people are downloading the software, which is another good indicator of how popular it is.

I have used AVG Free ( http://download.cnet.com/avg-anti-virus-free/3000-2239_4-10320142.html ) , and Avast Free ( http://download.cnet.com/avast-free-antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.htm l ). Both are very good, and completely free. At present I am using Avast on all of my home computers.

I have heard good things about Avira AntiVir Free ( http://download.cnet.com/Avira-AntiVir-Personal-Free-Antivirus/3000-22 39_4-10322935.html ), and it has good ratings, but I have not personally tried it.

In addition to Avast or one of the other free anti-virus software packages, I also run Ad-Aware ( http://download.cnet.com/ad-aware-free-internet/3000-8022_4-10045910.h tml ). Ad-Aware is a free anti-malware, anti-spyware package.

Good luck!

I can't download free AVG antivirus software, only the PC package

For AVG, you have to download an installer first from www.download.com and then download and install AVG. Alternatively download Avira on a dofferent machine and copy to your PC and install. I doubt if you can download AVG with this new system of installer.
